Wow, what an exciting Autumn we’ve had on board The Q Train!
In March we sadly said goodbye and good luck to Greg Egan, who had been our Head Chef since we opened. He followed his heart to Melbourne, and we are very happy for him (even if we miss his terrible jokes…).
If you’ve been watching MasterChef Australia this season, you may have seen a few teasers of a familiar train… This also made our Autumn very exciting! Make sure you watch the rest of the season, and let us know what you think!!!
The Bellarine Railway has been undertaking some important rail infrastructure work, which has meant that we have had to close for June. But we’re using this time well, and are recruiting new producers, wineries and breweries onto our menu.
It’s not just the train staff that have been busy over the last couple of months. Those of us in the office have been working away at a brand new booking system, as well as finalising our timetable until the end of Feb 2020. This timetable includes plenty of Saturday & Sunday lunches, all of which link with both Searoad and Port Phillip Ferries.
We know you’re asking us “why do I care about a new booking system?” Well, now you can redeem gift vouchers online!! And even better, you can now book tables of 6 online – but hurry because we only have two tables for 6 available on each service.
