Our Award Winning Restaurant on Rails The Q Train was very excited to be part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival in 2019. Legendary Chef Teage Ezard joined us for A Moveable Feast.
Legendary chef Teage Ezard and The Q Train head chef Greg Egan took guests on a degustation ride on rails through the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula.
The eight course menu highlighted local produce and was served in our refurbished dining cars as guests travelled a return journey on the heritage rail line.
Wine was be proudly provided by Scotchmans Hill, producers of premium cool climate wines since 1982.
The journey paused for about 45 minutes at the historic Queenscliff Railway Station to offer a tasting with local producers complete with a live jazz band backing. Then we returned to Drysdale Station.
This was a meals on wheels experience to remember.
